Spring brings hope.Still lots of snow here but it is going. Temps are creeping up. Hopes in sight. Life is not much without the little flutter of hope. Anyway hope to get in country a bit more the next few weeks with the strengthening sun. I have quite a bit of work to do to get into "woods walking shape"

ReplyDeleteSorry you have not been well - but glad to hear you are on the mend. Thanks for the photos - looks like a wonderful lunch spot. I have not carried a pot and stove on day outings for years - but it looks like a good idea. It would certainly slow things down - sitting and making a cup of hot coffee. Is that a new moose rifle?

ReplyDeleteThanks folks, No that is not a hunting rifle, its a plinking rifle. VZ58 in 223 Remington. I don't shoot predators or varmints so it strictly for fun and targets. I use a Winchester model 70 in 30-06 for moose. I also have one in 375 Hand H magnum but have not used it for moose yet.
ReplyDeleteI often go into the woods or barrens just to boil the kettle and to get away for a few hours.
I do hope you are feeling better soon. I always love your pictures. They just make me yearn to be out in the field with my shotgun again.
