Steaks,roasts, ground meat,sausages,hares stewing in cast iron pots,and birds roasting in the oven.
This year we can get by with very little if any store bought meat. All of it gotten while looking at beautiful country and seeing and feeling the weather (both good and bad) and the pleasure and the pain that is hunting. I feel lucky today to live where I do.

ReplyDeleteThank you Jim, I had a wonderful season. Today was my first day back to work in more than two months. Freezer is full. None will be wasted. We are thankful for it
